Polyaluminium Chloride (PAC) typically has a basicity between 50% and 80%, containing between 10% and 30% Al2O3. Aluminum Chlorohydrate (ACH) is a highly concentrated form of PAC with a basicity level around 83% and an Al2O3 content of 23%. ACH provides superior charge neutralization per unit mass, resulting in smaller floc volumes and less impact on treated water pH compared to standard PAC. This makes ACH highly effective for high-turbidity water treatment and systems with limited sludge storage space.
Choosing the right polyacrylamide polymer depends on the charge of the suspended solids in the wastewater. Anionic PAM (APAM) is typically used for inorganic suspensions containing positively charged particles, such as sand, silica, and mineral slurries. Cationic PAM (CPAM) is ideal for organic particles, such as biological sludge from municipal wastewater plants or paper mill waste. Non-ionic PAM (NPAM) is used under acidic conditions or for highly complex, mixed-charge suspensions where physical bridging is the primary mechanism of flocculation.
Textile printing and dyeing effluents contain synthetic organic dyes, such as reactive, acid, and disperse dyes, which are highly soluble and resistant to conventional biological processes. Our Water Decoloring Agent (WDA) is a highly cationic polymer containing dicyandiamide formaldehyde resins. The cationic groups destabilize and bind with the anionic molecules in the dyes. This breaks down the dye's color-producing chemical bonds, forming insoluble complexes that can be easily settled or filtered out.
