Wholesale Cationic Polyacrylamide (CPAM) from China Suppliers - High-Quality Factory for Water Treatment Solutions Manufacturers, Factory

Cationic Polyacrylamide (CPAM) is a highly effective water-soluble polymer characterized by its positively charged molecular chain (-NH₃⁺). Sourced from leading suppliers and produced in top-notch factories in China, this versatile polymer interacts with negatively charged suspended solids—such as clay and colloids—dissolved organic matter like humic acid, and various negatively charged pollutants, including dye anions. Through a mechanism of charge adsorption + net capture, CPAM rapidly aggregates these fine particles, making it an invaluable solution for decolorization and impurity removal. Its effectiveness shines in industries with low turbidity and high pollution levels, including printing and dyeing, electroplating, and chemical engineering. Choose CPAM from trusted suppliers in China for superior performance in water treatment applications.

Product Description

Core Features
Adjustable Ionicity · Precise Adaptation

Ionicity (cationic charge density) ranges from 10% to 80% (adjustable), customizable according to the negative charge intensity of wastewater:

▪ Low ionicity (10%–30%): Suitable for low turbidity, weakly negatively charged wastewater (such as surface water pretreatment). ▪ High ionic degree (50%–80%): Suitable for wastewater with high negative charge and fine suspended solids (such as printing and dyeing wastewater, electroplating wastewater).

Fast Dissolution, Low Residue

Dissolution time of powder PAM ≤ 60 minutes (at room temperature). After dissolution, flocs are large and settle quickly — settling speed is 25%–40% faster than conventional products. Works better when used in combination with PAC. Water insoluble matter ≤ 0.5%.

Strong Tolerance

Resistant to acid and alkali (pH 3–12), temperature-resistant (-5°C to 90°C), suitable for multiple scenarios such as mine wastewater, papermaking black liquor, printing and dyeing wastewater, and oilfield reinjection water.

Application Area
  • 1 Municipal sewage treatment: Accelerate sludge dewatering and improve purification efficiency.
  • 2 Industrial wastewater treatment: Treatment of high-concentration wastewater from steel mills, electroplating plants, paper mills, etc.
  • 3 Oilfield exploitation: Improve oil recovery and adjust water injection viscosity.
  • 4 Paper and Textile: Enhance paper strength and reduce fiber loss.
  • 5 Soil improvement: Prevent soil erosion and enhance soil water retention.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q What is the ionicity range of your cationic PAM, and how do I choose the right grade?
Our cationic PAM offers an adjustable ionicity range of 10% to 80%. For low turbidity or weakly negatively charged wastewater (e.g., surface water pretreatment), a low ionicity grade of 10%–30% is recommended. For high-concentration wastewater with strong negative charges (e.g., printing and dyeing or electroplating wastewater), a high ionicity grade of 50%–80% is more suitable.
Q How long does the powder PAM take to dissolve, and can it be used with PAC?
The powder PAM dissolves in ≤ 60 minutes at room temperature. After dissolution, it forms large flocs that settle 25%–40% faster than conventional products. It is highly effective when used in combination with PAC (Polyaluminum Chloride), as the two products complement each other in the coagulation-flocculation process.
Q What pH and temperature conditions is this PAM suitable for?
This cationic PAM has strong tolerance and is effective across a wide pH range of 3 to 12 (both acidic and alkaline environments). It also performs reliably across a broad temperature range of -5°C to 90°C, making it suitable for challenging industrial environments including mine wastewater, papermaking black liquor, and oilfield operations.
Q What industries can this cationic PAM be applied to?
This product is widely used across multiple industries, including municipal sewage treatment (sludge dewatering), industrial wastewater treatment (steel mills, electroplating plants, paper mills), oilfield exploitation (improving oil recovery and water injection viscosity), paper and textile manufacturing (enhancing strength and reducing fiber loss), and agriculture (soil erosion prevention and water retention).
Q What packaging options are available, and can custom branding be arranged?
The product is available in 25kg woven bags (lined with plastic bags) or 1-ton jumbo bags. Custom packaging with English labeling or customer logo printing is available upon request, making it convenient for international buyers and private label requirements.
Q What are the storage requirements and shelf life of the product?
The product should be stored in a cool, dry environment with a temperature not exceeding 35°C, away from direct sunlight and moisture. When stored in its original unopened packaging under these conditions, the solid powder PAM has a shelf life of 2 years.
