A Technology Leader with 27 Years of Expertise in Water Treatment Chemicals
Founded in 1998, Wuxi BS Water Treatment Chemicals Co., Ltd. has established itself as an elite manufacturer and global exporter of chemical agents engineered for municipal sewage facilities, drinking water reservoirs, and highly complex industrial wastewater streams. Possessing advanced digital production capabilities and an extensive quality assurance infrastructure, we focus on delivering high-efficiency polymers and inorganic coagulants that meet the most stringent environment guidelines worldwide.
Our operation integrates robust manufacturing science with tailored chemical solutions. Backed by key partnerships in the environmental science domain, Wuxi BS continues to scale chemical production lines while achieving significant decarbonization and input-cost reductions for our distribution network and heavy industry partners.

Effective sewage treatment relies on strategic chemical intervention. Particulates suspended in municipal and industrial effluents primarily exist as negatively charged colloids (0.001 to 1 micrometer in size). These particles possess electrostatic repulsive forces (zeta potential) that prevent aggregation, keeping them permanently suspended. The primary objective of water treatment chemicals is to destabilize these colloids via two processes: charge neutralization (coagulation) and polymeric bridging (flocculation).
Inorganic coagulants have evolved from simple aluminum sulfate (alum) to high-performance pre-hydrolyzed polymeric aluminum species. Polyaluminium Chloride (PAC) is synthesized with varying degrees of basicity (represented as the mole ratio of OH/Al). Low-basicity PAC yields rapid precipitation but can significantly reduce water pH. Conversely, Aluminum Chlorohydrate (ACH) is characterized by a high basicity (~83%) and a concentrated alumina content (up to 24% Al2O3). The elevated basicity of ACH means it contains high concentrations of the highly charged polymer Al13O4(OH)24(H2O)127+ (often called the Al-13 Keggin ion). This molecule provides maximum charge neutralization efficiency per unit dose while keeping pH levels stable, reducing the need for post-treatment chemical neutralization (such as lime or caustic soda additions).
Once colloidal charges are neutralized by inorganic coagulants, high molecular weight organic polymers are introduced to build micro-flocs into larger, shear-resistant macro-flocs. Anionic Polyacrylamide (APAM) functions through a mechanism of adsorption and bridging, typically utilized in inorganic neutral slurries, metallurgical washes, and mineral processing. Cationic Polyacrylamide (CPAM), with positive charges along its backbone, is ideal for organic-rich wastes, such as municipal sludge, where it achieves rapid solid-liquid separation.
For systems with high cationic demand, linear polymers like PDADMAC (Poly-diallyldimethylammonium chloride) provide powerful charge density. As a quaternary ammonium polymer, PDADMAC remains fully ionized across a wide pH range, neutralizing dissolved organic carbon (DOC) and colloidal color bodies prior to primary sedimentation.

R&D development focusing on bio-based flocculants and low-carbon chemical synthesis to support global net-zero targets.
Operating out of the industrial hub of Wuxi, Jiangsu province, Wuxi BS Water Treatment Chemicals Co., Ltd. benefits from a highly integrated raw material ecosystem. The proximity to key domestic suppliers of high-grade hydrochloric acid and bauxite ensures an uninterrupted manufacturing cycle. This geographic advantage shields overseas buyers from raw material volatility, securing consistent prices and supply lines.
Furthermore, our infrastructure includes dedicated holding tanks and raw warehouses that store over 20,000 tons of finished products. Our digital control systems ensure every batch of PAC, CPAM, or ACH matches the exact chemical specifications defined in customer contracts. By optimizing our shipping routes through nearby ports like Shanghai, we minimize global freight times, offering reliable containerized shipments to North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.
Wastewater varies significantly by region. Industrial zones in cold climates require coagulants that remain active at low temperatures, where traditional alum performance drops. For these environments, high-basicity ACH is preferred due to its rapid hydrolysis kinetics. In arid regions where water reuse is critical, the removal of dissolved silica and organic carbon is essential to prevent membrane fouling in zero-liquid-discharge (ZLD) plants.
Our technical roadmap centers on smart dosing feedback systems. Over-dosing coagulants not only wastes chemicals but can also lead to issues like high residual aluminum levels in final effluents. By pairing our high-purity coagulants with optical sensors, plants can adjust chemical feeds dynamically based on real-time raw water turbidity and zeta potential measurements.
Industrial chemicals face tight global regulations. Wuxi BS operates under strict ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 frameworks. For drinking water applications, our aluminum chlorohydrate and polyaluminium chloride are processed to minimize trace heavy metals (such as arsenic, cadmium, and lead), meeting international health standards. We assist distributors and industrial users with regulatory filings, providing comprehensive Safety Data Sheets (SDS), technical datasheets, and certificates of analysis (COA) for every shipment.
